Once you’ve mastered the oil and wax finishes, the next step is to attempt a mirror gloss finish. This is achieved by spray lacquer followed by levelling and buffing. A lengthy process reserved for the patient craftsman, but rewarding for those who can put in the hours. This course can take 4-8 hours depending on what you’re lacquering.
