Sam Chua started blowing glass in 2018, pursuing her BA in Fine Arts & Design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Ams) through the Glass Department. She joined our team in 2022, and has since focused on technical glassblowing and furnace work, specialising in toolmaking to continue to outfit our hot shop. Sam has had the opportunity to further her studies in glass and develop her personal work with international artists through scholarship and generous support, visiting major glass hubs in Corning (NY), Seattle (WA) and Niijima (Japan).

She runs our Hotshop, and is also our main Gaffer available for private sessions.
