Introduction to Fine Woodworking
(SkillsFuture | CRS-N-0043554)
This course covers the crafting of a modern windsor-inspired chair held with wedged tenon joinery. The chair is made from square timber stock, so you’d be learning the use of the bandsaw, lathe and various hand tools to shape and construct the joinery required to hold the chair together. The rest of the work is hand rasping, carving and a whole lot of sanding.
