Kadut Chair Making Class

Kadut Chair Making Class

The Kadut Chair is a contemporary interpretation of a classic mortise and tenon chair, coupled hand sculpted arms and upholstered seats. The class will cover the cutting of open tenons that are double-wedged. The seat is produced by bent lamination then upholstered with a high density foam and suede fabric. It’s the perfect introduction to chair making for beginners with detailed instruction from start to finish.

The class is taught in a 3 hour + 3 hour format each week, 3 hours of focused class time and 3 hours of free-and-easy joinery practice. The schedule is flexible and you can come back to complete your work anytime throughout the week from Tuesday to Sunday.
