Glass Sculpting On The Torch

We’re so excited to bring to you our first class in glass sculptures, starting at the bench torch with Karen. After a 3 week trip to Corning, New York, Karen’s brought back the knowledge of soft glass sculpting from her training with Lucio Bubacco and Alessandro Boscolo. This will be an intensive 2 day Weekend Class, with demonstrations and lessons in the morning, and practice/tutorial in the afternoon.

This is a 2 day intensive class covering the fundamentals of glass sculpting at the bench torch. You will learn the basics of glass sculpting, material preparation and assembling pieces at the bench. The basics of human figure anatomy will also be covered.
